Speeding 40 MPH Over Limit Leads to DUI Arrest

Two teens were also cited for driving across Town Line Park.

The following information is from the Lake Forest Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Cameron W. Titus, 24, of Lake Forest was stopped for speeding 98 in a 55 mph zone and swerving across multiple lanes of traffic March 21 at 12:40 a.m. Police said he exhibited a strong odor of alcohol, admitted to drinking and failed a field sobriety test. He was taken into custody and a breath test showed him to have a blood alcohol level of 0.177. He was released on $3,000 bond and given a May 13 court date.

Patricia L. Pipes, 35, of Chicago, was stopped for a registration violation March 25 at 12:10 a.m. at Route 41 and Westleigh Road and was taken into custody when the officer learned she was driving on a suspended license. She was released on $1,500 bond and given an April 15 court date.

Leanne Rodriguez, 23, of North Chicago, was stopped for driving without license plates March 24 at 1:30 a.m. at Route 41 and Westleigh Road and was taken into custody when the officer learned that she was driving on a suspended license. She was released on $1,500 bond and given a May 20 court date.

Teens cited for criminal damage to property

Police responded to Town Line Park for a report of two cars intentionally driving on the fields at the park. Two 16-year-old boys, one from Lake Forest and the other from Lake Bluff, were cited for criminal damage to property. Both were released to their parents.
