• Driver, patrons uninjured after car crashes through front of gas station in Lake Zurich (lakemchenryscanner.com) — Emergency crews responded Christmas evening after an elderly driver accidentally drove a black Audi through the front of the BP gas station at 1 North Rand Road in Lake Zurich. Police say no one inside or outside the store was hurt, there was no structural damage, and no citations will be issued because the crash happened on private property.
