According to the school, students at SS. Cyril and Methodius experience a well-rounded education rooted in faith, community and academic rigor.

“To captivate the attention of the general public during this fundraiser, I proposed an unconventional approach,” said Andrew Dostal, an SSCM parent and organizer of the raffle. “What could capture attention more effectively than a 2025 Riptide Blue Corvette?”

Dostal, an alumnus of the school himself, said he is a Corvette owner and got the idea after visiting the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky.

If you're looking for a peek of the car, you can spot it at the Lemont car shows on Wednesday nights, Dostal said.

SSCM also thanked Fr. Valdi for his continued support of the school and the raffle initiative.

"His guidance and encouragement have been instrumental in helping bring this exciting opportunity to life," the school said.
