Lemont High School Names Nearly 1,000 Students to First Semester Honor Rolls
The senior class led the way with 271 students receiving either honors or high honors.

More than 225 students were honored in each of the school's four classes. The senior class led the way with 271 students selected (210 high honors, 61 honors).
The junior class had 252 honorees (172 high honors, 80 honors). The freshman class had 243 students honored (172 high honors, 71 honors), and the sophomore class had 227 (158 high honors, 69 honors).

In order to receive high honors, students must be enrolled in six or more classes and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better. Honor roll students must achieve a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49.
Students who receive lower than a "C" in any class are not eligible for either distinction.
