Lemont Park District Hosts Annual Fall Fest

Event will be held Saturday afternoon at Centennial Park.

The Lemont Park District will host its annual Fall Fest on Saturday.

Fall Fest will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 19 at Centennial Park, 16028 W. 127th St.

The free event will feature a scarecrow building contest, straw maze, costume contest, bonfires with free hot dogs and s'mores, hayrides, a Lions Club Chili Tasting and children's games.

Back by popular demand will be live music from Peace Freak (formerly the Cover Junkies).

New this year is a dog costume contest, pumpkin shot-put competition, Halloween make-up demo and a community official pie-eating contest.
