The Lemont Police Department is holding the dog, which was recovered Sunday in the 900 block of Singer Avenue.

Lemont police are searching for the owners of a brown and white pit bull, which was recovered Sunday in the 900 block of Singer Avenue.

The dog is currently being held at the , 14600 W. 127th St.

Anyone with information on the dog's owners should contact Lemont police at 630-257-2226.
