2. Lemont Park District Meeting
The Board of Commissioners will hold its monthly business meeting at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Centennial Community Center, 16028 W. 127th St. A public hearing will be held at 7:45 p.m. for budget and appropriations. For more information, visit www.lemontparkdistrict.org.
3. Relay for Life
Relay for Life of Lemont-Homer Glen will be held Friday, July, participants walk for 12 hours to raise awareness and funding for cancer research. The Lemont-Homer Glen event is scheduled for Friday, July 13, through Saturday, July 14, at the Lemont High School Sports Complex, 131st Street and Bell Road.
In 2011, nearly 300 participants for cancer treatment and research. Since 2005, the Relay for Life of Lemont-Homer Glen has raised more than $460,000, according to event organizers.

4. Teen Study Hours
The , 50 E. Wend St. will hold study hours this week for teens studying for finals. A room will be reserved from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information, visit www.lemontlibrary.org.
