Waste Management Offers Christmas Tree Pick-Up For Lemont

LEMONT, IL — If you're taking down Christmas decorations and aren't sure where to dispose of your live Christmas tree, Waste Management offers Christmas tree pick-up on your regular pick-up day.

The Village said the Christmas trees will be picked up through the last week of January.

According to Waste Management, trees should not be buried in snow, frozen to the ground or bagged. All lights, ornaments and tinsel should be removed.

Trees cannot exceed 50 pounds in weight, and must be 4 feet in length for removal. Trees between 6 and 8 feet can be cut into smaller sections.
