Harassment By Phone, Battery, And More Lake County Crime Reports
Lake Co. Sheriff's office crime reports for Valentine's Day weekend include violating an order of protection, harassment and more.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's office responded to several crime incidents in recent days:
Warrant Arrest: Violation of order of protection
Joseph J. Gertz, 20, of the 0 to 100 block of Hillcrest Drive in Fox Lake, was arrested on Feb. 13 in the 1000 block of N. Westmoreland Road in Lake Forest, on a failure to appear warrant for violation of an order of protection. Gertz's bond is listed as 10 percent of $50,000 (recognizance). The sheriff's office lists Gertz's court date as scheduled for March 18.

Aggravated domestic battery, unlawful restraint
Cristopher Lopez, 18, from the 0 to 100 block of S. Fulton Avenue in Waukegan, was arrested on Feb. 12 in the 7700 block of N. Northern Avenue in Beach Park, on accusations of aggravated domestic battery and unlawful restraint. Lopez's bond is set at 10 percent of $75,000. The sheriff's office lists Lopez's court date as scheduled for March 11.

Warrant arrest: Unlawful possession of a controlled substance
Adrian M. Atkinson, 48, from the 2100 block of Williamsburg Court in Waukegan, was arrested on Feb. 12 in the 38900 block of North Green Bay Road in Beach Park, on a failure to appear warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and also faces a new charge of obstructing justice. Atkinson's bond is set at 10 percent of $75,000. The sheriff's office lists Atkinson's court date as scheduled for March 11.
Warrant Arrest: Harassment by telephone
Artur Cawlina, 43, of the 26100 block of W. Brandt Road in unincorporated Barrington, was arrested on Friday at the same address, on a warrant out of Kane County for harassment by telephone. Cawlina's bond is set at 10 percent of $35,000. The sheriff's office lists Atkinson's court date as TBD in Kane County.
Warrant Arrest: Theft, retail theft (failure to appear), possession of hypodermic needles
Carissa A. Allred, 32, of the 1700 block of Lincoln Street in North Chicago, was arrested Saturday at Lewis Avenue and Wadsworth Road in Beach Park, on a failure to warrant for theft and retail theft, and also faces new charges of obstructing justice and unlawful possession of hypodermic needles. Allred's bond is set at 10 percent of $35,000. The sheriff's office lists Allred's court date as Thursday, Feb. 20.
