Man Accused Of Battery Against Female Coworker: Libertyville PD
The Libertyville Police Department reports recent arrests at area businesses.

Business arrests
Libertyville police officers were called to the 300 block of Peterson Road Friday for a reported confrontation between two workers, according to a release from the police department. Police said a woman told them an argument with a male coworker got physical, and he was identified as 52-year-old Kevin Selchert, of the 600 block of Bayou Court, Fox Lake. According to the release, video surveillance footage from the business supported the woman's claims, and Selchert was arrested and taken to the Libertyville Police Department. He now faces battery charges, according to the release.

Police said Selchert was released after signing a $164.00 personal recognizance bond, and his court date is set for Sept. 18 at the Mundelein Branch Court.
On Saturday, police were called to a business in the 100 block of W. Rockland Road at 12:54 p.m. for a reported intoxicated person, according the release. Police said the intoxicated person at the business was identified as 47-year-old Harry Bishop, of the 500 block of Drake Street, Libertyville, who is accused of being extremely intoxicated and arguing with family members on site.

Officers cited Bishop for public intoxication and released him on a notice to appear, according to police. He was given a ride to a hotel for the rest of the night in an effort to prevent more arguing with family members, according to the release.
