62-Year-Old Hit By Two Vehicles: Lisle Police
Police are still looking for one of the vehicles

Lisle Police are looking for one of the two vehicles that struck a 62-year-old pedestrian on Wednesday evening, according to a department press release.
Just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the 1000 block of Maple Avenue to investigate a report of a man who had been hit by a vehicle. The pedestrian was seriously injured and unresponsive when officers arrived.
Personnel from the Lisle-Woodridge Fire District transported the man to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Eastbound traffic on Maple Avenue was closed for three hours while police investigated the accident. They determined that the man had been hit by two vehicles. The driver of the second vehicle did not stop and left the area without contacting police. Witnesses described the vehicle as a blue Chevrolet Equinox.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have information regarding the blue Chevrolet Equinox involved in the accident to contact the Lisle Police Department at (630) 271-4200.
