LISLE, IL — The prospect of sitting on the lap of Santa Claus to tell him what they want for Christmas can have mixed results in some children, but not matter how your little one reacts to old St. Nick, it's definitely a meeting that will be remembered for a lifetime.
In the Lisle area, kids will have several chances to see Santa in person. Here are the details for some upcoming visits:
Santa's Gingerbread House in Downers Grove

Santa's Gingerbread House is open at the intersection of Main and Curtiss Streets Saturdays and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 21.
Main Street in Glen Ellyn

Kids can visit Santa in downtown Glen Ellyn on Saturdays and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. He'll be posted up at 425 Main St. through Dec. 21.
Santa is also holding court at several shopping malls in the local area, including Yorktown Center, Oakbrook Center and The Promenade in Bolingbrook.
