AMITA Health Gala on February 29 to Raise Philanthropic Support

AMITA Health Foundations present the AMITA Health Gala, “Leaping Forward Together,” on Saturday, February 29, 2020. The first systemwide charitable gala will be the largest philanthropic effort for the AMITA Health Foundations as they unite under one health system committed to delivering compassionate care to nearly 6.6 million residents in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs.

Newly appointed AMITA Health President and CEO Keith A. Parrott will officially welcome guests to the black-tie event presented by Superior Ambulance Service. The gala will fittingly take place on leap day 2020 and is expected to attract more than 700 supporters, raising funds for AMITA Health sites of care across Chicagoland.

The 2020 gala will provide an opportunity for supporters to put compassion into action for people in communities across Chicagoland. Gala proceeds will be invested in programs and services that would not exist without philanthropy and that care for the bodies, minds and spirits of those served by AMITA Health. For example, proceeds may be used to provide community outreach to address unmet needs, such as food, housing and transportation among others.

Collectively rooted in faith-based healthcare serving the Chicagoland area for more than 100 years, AMITA Health’s mission is to extend the healing ministry of Jesus and ensure that everyone in our communities — especially those who need it most — has a place to turn for exceptional, compassionate healthcare.
