Applicants Sought For New Police Commander Roles In Lisle
The open positions come amid a restructuring of the police force at Lisle.

LISLE, IL — Applications are now open for a new mid-level management role with the Lisle Police Department (LPD). Two new commander positions have been added amid a new rank restructuring within the LPD.
The rank restructuring ordinance was approved by village council in November. The changes also require just one deputy chief, whereas the former ordinance had called for two. Two sergeant roles were also added, increasing LPD's number of sergeants to seven.
Police commanders will rank just below the deputy chief.
