Armed Robbery, Two Additional Business Robberies Reported
Here are some items from the Village of Lisle Police Department blotter on Feb. 14.

An unknown person smashed through the front door of , 2771 Maple Ave., and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register between midnight and 6 a.m. on Feb. 11.
During the same time frame, an unknown person smashed through the front door of , 6478 College Rd., and removed money from the register.

Speedway Gas Station robbed by armed man
On Feb. 12 at approximately 8:50 p.m. an unknown male suspect walked into the , 550 Ogden Ave., and walked behind the sales counter displaying a handgun. The suspect demanded the cashier give him money from the register; after retrieving the cash, the suspect left the business on foot.

Public information officer Sgt. Randall Johnson could not disclose the amount of money taken from any of the incidents. He said all three robberies are currently under investigation.
