Candidate Packets For 2021 Election Available Next Week
Lisle residents interested in running may pick up packets Sept. 22.

The next local consolidated general election takes place on April 6, 2021. Village of Lisle residents interested in becoming a candidate for the positions of Mayor, Village Clerk or Village Trustee may pick up a candidate’s packet starting Tuesday, September 22, 2020. The packets are available at the Village Clerk’s Office, located within Lisle Village Hall, 925 Burlington Avenue. Distribution of the packets will begin at 7:00 a.m.

Nominating petitions may not be circulated for signature prior to this date. All offices are four-year terms and start May 1, 2021. Candidates must file their nominating papers with the Office of the Village Clerk during the filing period, which is December 14 – 20, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and December 21, 2020, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional information can be found through visiting the Illinois State Board of Elections website or through contacting an attorney.
