Five Things You Should Know about Lisle High School's Fall Play

LSHS's production of The Nerd starts this Thursday; here's what you need to know.

The students are performing "Nerd" by Larry Shue. The comedy portrays an architect in 1980's Terre Haute, IN, and his relationship with the fellow soldier who saved his life in the Vietnam War.

Students assisted in the play selection process. A committee helped choose this production based on criteria for student interest, technical elements and costumes.

The props are as authentic as possible. "We have worked all summer with a group of student designers on lights, sound, set, props, makeup, hair, costumes, and promotions.  One particular challenge was to find props that represented the late seventies, but it was fun searching for them. I am very excited to see their visions and designs come to life on stage," said Park.
