Free Tree Saplings Available For Arbor Day In Lisle

LISLE, IL — Lisle residents can celebrate Arbor Day by picking up a free tree sapling to grow on their property. The saplings will be available for pickup April 29 at PrairieWalk Pond, where village officials will plant an American Beech tree at 10 a.m.

During the event, Pawpaw tree and Douglas Fir saplings will be available on a first come, first served basis. Head to the north end of PrairieWalk Pond to watch the tree planting and pick up your sapling.
