LISLE, IL — Curbside leaf collection will start Oct. 28 in Lisle for the 2024 fall season. Collection crews will make rounds past homes to gather leaves that have been raked onto parkways.

Here's what residents need to do to take part in the leaf collection program:

  • Rake leaves onto the parkway of your home behind the curb
  • Do not bag leaves
  • Make sure leaves stay out of the roadway
  • Do not block storm drains with leaves

Workers will pass homes once, and then continue to collect leaves throughout the village, though some collection cycles may extend into the following week. In total, the village anticipates completing four or five collection cycles throughout the season. Leaf pickup will last through the week of Dec. 2.
