Lisle High School Baseball Day; Morton Clearance Sale

Stuff that's happening in and around Lisle for July 29.

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Lisle for Monday, July 29:

·      Monday has been officially declared “Lisle High School Baseball Day" in the Village of Lisle. The state championship team will be honored at Wrigley Field prior to the Cubs game against the Brewers at 7:05 p.m.

·      The Morton Arboretum (4100 Illinois Route 53, Lisle) is holding a ongoing clearance sale with “bargains on home decor, apparel, jewelry, gardening items and books” starting at 10:00 a.m. (and going all week.) Admission to the Arboretum is $9-$12.

·      Fans of ultra-spicy food can test their limits at Naperville’s Heaven on Seven’s Hot as a Mutha! event (224 S. Main Street, Naperville.) $50 per person gets a seven-course meal designed to both titillate and torture the taste buds. It kicks off at 7:00 p.m.
