The village of Lisle will will flush its fire hydrants beginning Oct. 3 through Oct. 7 between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Flushing will remove minerals and other deposits that exist in the water main to improve water quality.
In addition, all fire hydrants will be inspected to ensure they are working properly and those that are not, will be repaired.
On the day of the flushing, signs will be posted in the area.
