Lisle Library Board of Trustees Meeting Wednesday Night

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Lisle for Wednesday, Aug. 14:

·      The Lisle Library Board of Trustees is holding their monthly meeting on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Meeting Room B in the Library (777 Front St., Lisle.) Citizens welcome and are afforded an opportunity to speak at the beginning of each session. Find the meeting agenda here.

·      Morton Arboretum is hosting the second-to-last Wednesday, Woods and Wine, this time featuring the Lisa Rene Band, whose website say they “provide a high-energy show with something for everyone, from rock, to pop, to retro, to funk, to jazz, to country.” The show goes from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is $10 for members, $15 for non-members.

·      The Lisle Windrunners running group are holding their final organizational meeting Wednesday night for their biggest event, the Windrunner 10K, which will be held on Sunday in the Danada County Forest Preserve just north of the Village. The meeting is at 6:30 P.M. at Connie’s Pizza (1170 Iroquois Ave, Naperville.)
