Lisle Man Charged in 100-mph DUI Crash at Village Border
The 24-year-old was hurtling east on Chicago Avenue into Lisle at 100 mph, but never made it, crashing into parked cars in the Angeli's strip mall parking lot.

A 24-year-old Lisle man is accused of speeding drunk down Chicago Avenue at 100 miles per hour last Sunday before smashing into two parked cars and a streetlight, the Naperville Sun reports.
According to the paper, Nicholas Songco was arrested shortly before 3:00 a.m. on July 7 after crashing his 2002 Chevrolet Impala in a Naperville strip mall at the southwest corner of Chicago and Naper Boulevard, just west of the Lisle border.
He has been charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol, and counts of driving more than 40 mph over the posted speed limit (35 mph on Chicago), reckless driving and improper lane use, the Daily Herald reports.
Neither Songco nor anyone else were badly hurt in the crash, the paper said.
Police Sgt. Lou Cammiso told the Sun that Songco gave "no reason for the speed." He is currently free on bail, the paper said, and his arraignment is pending a date.
