How did the business come to be?

I have been in the hardware business for over 30 years. In 2009 the opportunity came up to purchase the former "Bruce's Home Center" in Lisle.

Why did you choose the area you did?

I had worked in this store for over 20 years. I was familiar with the area and the customers needs.

What does your business offer?

We are an independent,family owned Hardware Store. We have most everything you need to maintain and improve your home or business. Plumbing, electrical, builders hardware, key cutting, Valspar Paint & sundries. Cleaning supplies, lawn & garden. Scotts Fertilizers & grass seed, Burpee Garden Seeds, Ortho Lawn Care Products. And coming soon, the greenhouse will be back with flowers and vegetables. Just to name a few. And the largest selection of fasteners in the area.

What is a fact about your business that most customers probably do not know?

We have not been a member of "Ace Hardware" for over 12 years.
