Meet Jasmine
Jasmine is an eight-year-old Siamese mix at the Hinsdale Humane Society.
Jasmine is an eight-year-old Siamese torti point, which is just under 13 pounds. She was adopted from the Hinsdale Humane Society years ago, but Jasmine's owner recently began having health problems, so Jasmine was brought back to the shelter in August. The shelter says Jasmine is a very loving, gentle cat that loves to curl up in your lap and be petted.
"She's very sweet," said Sarah Zero, who works at the Hinsdale Humane Society. "She's definitely my favorite [cat]."
Jasmine can be a little shy in the beginning, but once she gets to know you, she can be a talker. The Humane Society says she would be best placed in a home with children. If you happen to be 65 or older, the shelter will waive Jasmine's adoption fee of $50.
