Memorial Day Parade, Remembrance Ceremony Planned For May 27 In Lisle

Lisle will host its Memorial Day Parade and Remembrance Ceremony on May 27.

LISLE, IL — Lisle will hold a Memorial Day Parade and Remembrance Ceremony on May 27. The event, presented by Lisle Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Ross Bishop Memorial Post #5696, will honor those who died in military service.

The parade will step off at 10 a.m. from Lisle Junior High School. Participants will make their way up Main Street to Burlington, where they will head east before stopping at the Lisle Veterans Memorial. A brief Remembrance Ceremony will be conducted at the Veterans Memorial.

A subsequent Remembrance Ceremony will be held at Lisle Cemetery.

Attendees are reminded that the parade will be a solemn march, with no candy, loud noises or handouts allowed.
