New Village Manager Appointed For Lisle

Jeffrey Cook was recently sworn in after being appointed by Mayor Mary Jo Mullen.

LISLE, IL — Lisle's new Village Manager Jeffrey Cook is "eager to lead our team of talented professionals to implement the Board's priorities," Cook shared in a statement.

Cook, who was appointed by Mayor Mary Jo Mullen, was sworn in on May 19. He previously served as village manager in Pingree Grove and assistant village administrator in Frankfort. There, Cook also worked as the director of development services.

He holds a bachelor's degree in urban and regional planning, which he earned at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Cook also has a masters degree in real estate, which he earned from University of Illinois Chicago.

Mayor Mullen said Cook will bring a "collaborative, forward-thinking approach to the role."

She added that Cook's experience make him "particularly well-suited to lead the village of Lisle."
