Pirates Over 40 Playing Wednesday at the Arboretum

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Lisle for Wednesday, Aug. 7:

·      The “tropical-rock” band Pirates Over 40 (“Buffet and Beyond!”) are performing at the Morton Arboretum’s Wednesdays, Woods & Wine 21+ event. Tickets are $10 for members, $15 for non-members. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

·      The brand new DuPage Valley Vengeance Fastpitch Softball travel team is holding their tryouts for the fall season all day Wednesday at 479 West Forest Avenue, West Chicago. Find a complete schedule here.
