Police: Lisle Man Beat Victim with Metal Baton

The alleged incident occurred in Lisle on Aug. 21; the accused has been charged with felony aggravated battery.

A Lisle man has been charged with felony battery after police said he knocked down an apartment door and attacked another man with a "club-like object," a metal baton, the Suburban Life reports.

According to the paper, Adam P. Roser, 29, of 5113 Lincoln Ave., is accused of returning to the scene of an argument on the 4700 block of Main Street on Aug. 21, busting down an apartment door and beating another man with the weapon, causing cranial lacerations and a broken finger.

Roser has been charged with felony aggravated battery causing great bodily harm and unlawful possession of a weapon with intent to use, as well as for aggravated DUI, driving while license suspended and possession of cannabis.
