LISLE, IL — Lisle residents are invited to attend a public hearing on June 16 to discuss a proposal to designate part of East Ogden Avenue as a tax increment financing (TIF) District.
A joint review board meeting was held May 13 to discuss plans for the proposed TIF District's redevelopment project area, including potential required ordinances and planning documents, along with the area's eligibility report. The meeting was continued until June 3, according to village documents.
The proposed TIF District covers Ogden Avenue between I-355 and St. Joseph's Creek Road. This area has been "identified as an opportunity corridor to attract private development and new businesses as well as make public improvements consistent with the Village's newly adopted 2024 Comprehensive Land Use Plan," per village documents.
