Secretary Of State Mobile Unit To Visit Lisle

Secretary of State representatives will follow all State of Illinois health and safety protocols in providing services Oct. 15.

The Secretary of State Mobile Unit will visit the Village Board Room in Lisle’s Village Hall, 925 Burlington Avenue in Lisle, on Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Individuals can take advantage of this convenient service and have a driver's license duplicated, corrected or renewed, obtaining a state ID card, and register for the Motor Voter or Organ Donor programs. Vehicle stickers (including B-truck plates) and vision screenings will also be offered. REAL ID and commercial driver’s licenses, written exams and road tests are not available through the Mobile Unit. Secretary of State representatives will follow all State of Illinois health and safety protocols in providing these services.

Documents required for obtaining services includes a Social Security card and two additional forms of ID that provide name, date of birth, residency and a signature. Copies will not be accepted. There is no charge for state ID cards for seniors 65+ years; seniors 75+ years are required to visit the Department of Motor Vehicles to renew a driver's license. Payments can be made using personal checks, cashier’s checks, major credit cards and debit cards. Cash will not be accepted.
