Speaker on HIV/AIDS in Kenya; Floodplain Homes Survey

Stuff that's happening in and around Lisle.

Here’s some of what’s going on in and around Lisle today:

·      The Lisle Rotary Club’s weekly meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Lisle Hilton will be joined by Sister Florence Muia, the founder and president of Upendo Village, a project helping Kenyan people with HIV and AIDS. All are welcome to attend the meeting.

·      The Village of Lisle may seek a FEMA grant for elevating or buying-out floodplain homes, but needs people who live in the floodplain to fill out this survey as soon as possible if they haven’t yet.

·      The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce is holding their annual golf outing at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Woodridge today, a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start, sponsored by Navistar.
