Enjoy these shots through the week of Oct. 4 - 9. Families planning to take a gander through the Morton Arboretum this weekend found themselves with a bit of a wait time. Traffic packed the queue area from the ticket-taking booths to the edge of Route 53.
Cars quickly populated the Visitor Center parking lot, and overflow fell to the Godshalk Meadow and Thornhill Education Center. Not only are locals packing in for the Fall Color Festival activities, which are held in the open area between the Visitor Center and Children's Garden, but this week the trees made dramatic changes.
This is a process readers can join in! Send us shots of the changes you see around the village. Submit photos to karlie@patch.com and indicate when and where the picture was taken. We'll display your photos in the next update of Fall Tree Watch 2010!
