Village: Help Get FEMA Funding, Submit Flood Damage Assessment
The Village is asking residents who suffered property damage in the flood to submit a survey, online or in person, by April 30.

The following is a press release from the Village of Lisle:
As part of the Village of Lisle’s preliminary flood-damage assessment, the Village is requesting that all residents and business owners who experienced property damage or loss due to recent flooding in their home and/or business complete a Flood Damage Assessment Survey. Individuals who have already submitted information to the Village via email or by other communication means should also complete the survey. This survey does not constitute an application for direct assistance. Rather, it is an initial step that is required prior to determining countrywide eligibility for potential Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funding.
Flood damage information collected by the Village will be forward[ed] to the DuPage County Office of Emergency Management. The county is in the process of requesting that DuPage be declared a federal disaster area by FEMA, which may result in federal funding assistance to individual property owners. Please be advised, this survey is only the initial collection of flood damage data; at this time no federal and/or state funding isavailable. The Village will notify the community if FEMA funding becomes available to Lisle.
