The 20th Annual Emily McCabe Musical Theatre Program
2022 marks the 20th year that the youth in our communities have come together to bring classic Broadway Musicals to life in 5 short weeks!
Curtain Call Theatre is proud to announce the 20th Anniversary of the popular Emily McCabe Musical Theatre Program. This program started in 2002 with a production of Schoolhouse Rock Live! in 2022 we are bringing the classic musical that is currently taking Broadway by storm to our summer stage!!! Based on Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy, THE MUSIC MAN JR. features some of musical theatre's most iconic songs and a story filled with wit, warmth, and good old-fashioned romance.
The story follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize, even though he knows nothing about music. Will he pull off the con? Or will his heart win out when he falls in love with uptight Marian, the town librarian?
The Broadway revival of THE MUSIC MAN features the amazing talents of Hugh Jackman as Harold Hill and Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo. Do you have a Hugh Jackman or a Sutton Foster at your house? This terrific musical has so many opportunities for the talented 4th thru 8th-grade students in our communities.

This singing, dancing, five-week camp begins June 13th; meets M-TH (M-F first week). Everyone enrolled will be in the show and learn every aspect of musical theatre from auditions to final production. Camp is held at St. Mary School - 11409 West 195th Street, Mokena, IL 60448. Camp has two sessions: AM (9:00-12:30) or PM (1:00-4:30).

Performances of THE MUSIC MAN JR will be on July 15-17, 2022 at Lincoln-Way Central H.S.
AM Camp performs on Saturday, July 16th at 7:00 pm & Sunday, July 17th at 2:00 pm.
PM Camp performs on Friday, July 15th at 7:00 pm & Saturday, July 16th at 2:00 pm.
