3rd Annual Pints and Pork Challenge Presented by St. Joe’s Parish

Celebrate craft beer and gourmet pork at this great event

Celebrate craft beer and gourmet pork at the 3rd Annual Pints and Pork Challenge presented by St. Joseph’s Parish in Manhattan, Ill., Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 from 5 to 9 p.m. The best cutting-edge craft breweries will be showcasing their beer along with a variety of pit masters featuring the best BBQ around. This unique event will be held at St. Joseph’s Parish grounds, 255 W. North Street, Manhattan, Ill. The best way to find your perfect pint.

Celebrating craft beer and pork, attendees sample the offerings from teams made up of breweries and pit masters. Then vote on their favorites. Prizes awarded for best beer, best pork and best beer and pork pairing., Enjoy bags games, split the pot raffle, bonfire pits under the stars, and music by acoustic singer/songwriter Casey Moss.

Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the gate. To order your ticket visit www.PintsandPork.com. Ticket includes all you can enjoy of beer and BBQ, a keepsake glass and a ballot to vote on the food and beer. Each brewer brings two craft beers to sample. The pit masters will each cook 40 pounds of pork.

The breweries participating in the Pints and Pork are 350 Brewing, Alter Brewing, Arrowhead Ales Brewing, Evil Horse Brewing, Noon Whistle Brewery, Oak Park Brewing Company, Mokena Brewing Company, Elmhurst Brewing Company, and Brick Stone Brewing Company.
