MANHATTAN, IL — If you need another pound of butter or a carton of milk on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, it’s a good idea to know where to go, as grocery stores in and around Manhattan adjust their hours for the holidays.

Most major retail grocery stores will close on Christmas Day, but there are exceptions. Some stores are also closed on New Year’s Day and operate on reduced hours on New Year’s Eve.

Aldi: Stores are closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and operate on a limited schedule on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day. Aldi holiday hours vary by location.
