Car Stolen Saturday In Manhattan: Police

The Manhattan Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact them.

MANHATTAN, IL — The Manhattan Police Department is looking for information or video footage related to the theft Saturday of a white Kia Stinger, according to police.

The theft happened around 1 a.m. Saturday in the 15800 block of Chippewa Lane in Manhattan, police said.

Another vehicle was burglarized nearby in the White Feather subdivision, police said.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or who may have security video to call the MPD at (815) 478-4408.

Police are also reminding residents to lock their vehicles, garages and homes in the evening to help prevent future thefts.
