Chicago Man Charged With DUI After Hitting Multiple Parked Cars: Manhattan PD
The man, 51, reportedly fled the scene after hitting the cars, according to police.

MANHATTAN, IL — A Chicago man was charged with driving under the influence after leaving the scene of a crash in Manhattan, police said.
Police June 27 were called to the 24400 block of Arrowhead Drive around 10 p.m. for a report of a black Acura striking multiple parked cars.
Police found the car, driven by William Deprospero, 51. Police spoke with him and determined he was the driver who had fled the scene of the accident, according to reports.

Police smelled alcohol on Deprospero's breath, and asked him to perform field sobriety tests, which police said he failed.
Deprospero was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, BAC over .08, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and expired registration.

He was assigned an initial court date of July 18 at the Will County Courthouse.
