The Will County Children's Advocacy Center was founded in 1995 by State's Attorney James Glasgow to partner with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) comprised of law enforcement, DCFS investigators, medical personnel, prosecutors, and Will County CAC forensic interviewers, family advocates, and trauma therapists to respond to reports of severe physical abuse, sexual abuse, commercial exploitation, neglect, and exposure to violence of children, in Will County, Illinois.

KANKAKEE, IL — A Frankfort man <a href="https://patch.com/illinois/manhattan/1-dead-2-injured-county-line-road-crash-state-police">died in a crash on County Line Road last week</a>, the Kankakee County Coroner's Office said Friday. James Trotter, 70, died following the three-car crash at IL-50 at W. County Line Road/E 12000N Road, the coroner said. Illinois State Police were called at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 8 to the multi-vehicle crash. Three people were transported to an area hospital. One driver—later identified as Trotter—was in critical condition, and was later pronounced dead.
