Gas Price Update: Average Price Now Over $5 Around Manhattan
Gas prices are at record highs Wednesday around Manhattan, so before you fill up the tank, take a look at the lowest gas prices nearby.
MANHATTAN, IL — Manhattan residents are feeling the squeeze at the pump with gas prices at a record high in Illinois. The average price of gas in Illinois was at about $4.92 per gallon Wednesday, according to AAA. That's up 13 cents from a week ago and up 57 cents from a month ago.
In Will County, the average price for a gallon of gas was around 9 cents over the state average on Wednesday at about $5.01 per gallon.

According to GasBuddy, the cheapest gas in Will County Wednesday was selling for $4.65 at Moshen, 24001 Lorenzo Road in Wilmington. Here are some other places you can save near Manhattan:
