July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Celebrate Independence Day Event

The community is invited to participate in the Celebrate Independence Day parade July 3. There is no cost to participate and registration in advance is not required. Simply join the line up starting at 10:30 a.m. in front of Anna McDonald School on Second Street. All vehicles must display an American flag. A map of the parade route can be found by following this link.

The Manhattan Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a “Most Patriotic” parade entry contest from noon to 2 p.m. at Central Park, 110 S. Park St. The Splash Pad at Central Park will be open for the kids to enjoy. Food will be available for purchase at Midtown Bar & Grill and Kirby's Korner Bakery.
