Signal Hill Chapter, NSDAR, has named member Kat Nosal its 2023 Outstanding Junior Member.

Signal Hill Chapter, NSDAR, has named member Kat Nosal its 2023 Outstanding Junior Member. Kat is currently serving as the Chapter’s Historian and is overseeing this year’s American History Essay Contest offered to grades five through eight in Barrington, IL District 220.
As a junior member, Kat promotes the aims and purposes of NSDAR by actively participating in chapter events, projects, and community activities. She is recognized for doing an outstanding job with the Signal Hill Chapter annual 2023 Youth Awards Day. She lives in Manhattan, IL with her husband and two young children.
The Signal Hill Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) was founded fifty years ago in Barrington, IL in 1972. NSDAR is a volunteer women’s service organization headquartered in Washington, DC.

DAR members promote historic preservation, education and patriotism via commemorative events, scholarships and educational initiatives, citizenship programs, service to veterans, meaningful community service and more.
