Manhattan Man, 47, Loved Camping, Woodworking, Time With Children

Services have been set for Anthony Fehrenbacher, a lifelong Manhattan resident who was found dead June 10.

MANHATTAN, IL — Services have been set for a lifelong Manhattan man who was found dead June 10, after being missing two weeks.

Anthony Fehrenbacher, 47, enjoyed "motocross racing, antique tractors, and spending time with his children," an obituary reads.

He loved camping, vacationing across the country and woodworking projects in his shop.

"Most of all he loved and cherished his children dearly," according to the obituary.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 14, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home, 507 S. State St., in Manhattan. A funeral service will immediately follow at 7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Fehrenbacher's children for future expenses are encouraged.
