MANHATTAN, IL — The newest addition to Manhattan is set for its debut, with its grand opening on Friday, July 19.
Soka Japanese Hibachi and Sushi, 340 W. North St., announced its opening on social media Wednesday. The restaurant will offer both dine-in and carryout options. They open for business on Friday, July 19 from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
"Hello sweet Manhattan, please join us as we celebrate the grand opening of Soka Japanese Hibachi and Sushi," owner Stiven Lie shared on social media. "Can’t wait to serve you guys! ..."

Soka opens just months after the late-May news of it moving into the space on North Street.
"Manhattan continues to draw attention as a prime location for businesses to thrive," Mayor Mike Adrieansen previously told Patch. "We are dedicated to working with companies who recognize the potential and are eager to contribute to the community's growth."

The menu features sushi, ramen, and hibachi meals, including a kids menu and lunch specials.
It's the newest addition to the business scene in Manhattan, with boutique Posh West also opening just last week.
