McDonald's To Build In Manhattan: Mayor
The fast food corporation will build on property adjacent to Dollar General, the Mayor announced.

MANHATTAN, IL — Manhattan will soon have its own McDonald's location, Mayor Mike Adrieansen announced on social media Tuesday.
The corporation will build on property adjacent to the Dollar General store, located at 500 W. North St. Construction is expected to begin in the spring, with a projected opening of late-summer or early-fall.
"The village board and I are excited to announce McDonald’s has officially applied to construct a new store on the property adjacent to Dollar General," Adrieansen said on social media. "It has been a pleasure working with them to locate in the Village over the past year and this project will be a welcome addition to our community."
