School Closings In Manhattan: Check To See Which Ones Are Closed
With significant snowfall predicted for Tuesday through Thursday, Patch is keeping track of which Manhattan schools will be closed.

MANHATTAN, IL — With significant snowfall accumulation expected Tuesday through Thursday, some schools are closing or going with remote learning. Patch is keeping a list of which schools in Manhattan have decided to close or offer remote learning, according to information on the Emergency Closing Center website.
The following Manhattan schools are closed Wednesday: (This list will update as additional schools announce closings.)
- St. Joseph Catholic School
- Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210. (E-learning)
- Manhattan School District 114.
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Tuesday declared a state of emergency ahead of the expected winter storms. Pritzker activated 130 members of the Illinois National Guard to ensure that all state resources are in place to prepare for Winter Storm Landon. Forecasters are saying that certain portions of Illinois could see between 1-2 feet of snow between Tuesday night and Thursday.
