Winter Parking Ban In Effect On Manhattan Streets
Parking on Manhattan streets between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. will be prohibited until March.

MANHATTAN, IL - The winter parking ban in the village of Manhattan is now in effect. The ban, which will be in effect until March 15, 2019, disallows parking on curbed streets from 1 a.m. and 6 p.m. Also, parking is prohibited anytime on any streets which have two or more inches of snow or a one-inch ice buildup.
The ban went into effect on Dec. 1, according to the Village of Manhattan Police Department's Facebook page.
