Obituary: Aurora Williamson-Bill
Former Amoco and Joliet Army Ammunition Plant Employee Passes Away at 83.

Aurora Williamson-Bill
Aurora Williamson-Bill, age 83, of Morris, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025. She was born on February 16, 1942, in Little Rock, AR, to Jessie and Candelaria Espinoza.

Aurora worked for the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant in Elwood, Illinois then went on to work for Amoco Chemical Plant in Channahon, Illinois. She had secondary jobs as a waitress at Al’s Steakhouse, Syl’s, Drake’s Farm, and White Fence Farm.
She had a love for animals, especially her teacup, long haired, white Chihuahua, LuLu – along with several others. Aurora spent a lot of time feeding all kinds of outdoor wild life – always keeping bird feeders and humming bird feeders full. She truly had an admiration for nature.

Aurora was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, attending many games. She loved chocolate, burnt popcorn, anything made of pure sugar, camping, traveling, watching scary movies, going to garage sales, playing Bingo, going to casinos to play nickel slot machines, and playing family card games. Her favorite performers were Elvis Presley and Tom Jones.
Aurora is survived by her children, Frank (Cheryl) Cisneros, Jackie Ann (Jim) Thompson, Jessie (Joe) Cisneros; her special half-daughter, Mary Ann Chen; her loving grandchildren, Frank Cisneros IV, Jonathan Oran, Zachary Franklin, Toft and Nicole Aurora Quarles, Miriah (Brennan) Turner, Jessie Lynn Cisneros, Matthew Earl Frazee; and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald S. Bill; one daughter, Gloria Ranee Frazee; her parents, Jessie and Candelaria; and 16 siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Will County Humane Society.
Visitation for Aurora Williamson-Bill will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet, IL from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m. As it was her request, cremation rites will be accorded following services.
