Bicyclist Dies After Crash With Jeep: Police
A Naperville woman died after suffering head injuries in the crash involving a Wheaton driver, police said.
NAPERVILLE, IL — A bicyclist died after a crash Saturday involving a Wheaton driver, according to police.
Authorities responded around 10:15 a.m. to West Ogden Avenue and Royal Saint George Drive, where they found Isabel Dimas-Jimenez, 54, of Naperville, unconscious with a serious head injury after a collision with a Jeep Wrangler, police said. Dimas-Jimenez was taken to a local hospital where she later died, according to police.
The Wrangler was being driven by a 44-year-old woman from Wheaton, police said. The driver was going west on Ogden Avenue and collided with the eastbound bicyclist while turning onto southbound Royal Saint George Drive at a green light, according to police.

The road was closed until about 2 p.m. Saturday, police said, adding there had been no charges or citations brought as of Sunday morning.
